Elegy for the Forlorn
The images I’ve photographed for this series are of forgotten, neglected or discarded places. Places which once had a purpose, but now are only faint reminders of what they once were. I scout out locations of abandoned structures, remnants, bits and pieces of disintegration. I feel a longing standing alone in these places, a sadness and yet, a comfort in remembering earlier times when the turmoil of our current, politically troubled times was not yet known.
